Appreciations

The (w)holeness focused strategy of our unconditional love seems to use several channels, including putting our heart in balanced actions, alias “walking our talk” and “talking our walk”.

One of the hardest “things” to try to introduce in IT contexts is effective use of fluffy bunny stuff. When I introduce Temperature Reading in a larger group, participants often “worry” that those who do not receive an appreciation may be hurt in the process.

This reasoning may lead to “Let’s not do it, in order to prevent “others” from getting hurt”. As if we’re not on to the smell of fear of death of self! So I often reply something along lines of,

“Trust the multiverse. Collectives of people are very capable of detecting who from the collective would benefit most from receiving appreciations. Trust the wisdom of the collective. People that do not receive appreciations may not need them. Focus on actually giving appreciations and you will know.”

And Willem’s statement at the bottom of Butter Flies, again, clearly shows me this man knows of the joy of giving. As easy and simple as that!
